For those starting their adventure with Katori:

Christmas, Christmas and after... oh no, wait... 🙂 there is still time to buy gifts. So why not get yourself or someone a Christmas gift in the form of a card for Katori's training :) You can take care of the gift and fulfill your New Year's resolutions in one go :)
We are slightly modifying the rules for registering for Katori training. From December you can come to the first training until the 10th day of the month. The second change concerns age. We accept people from the age of 15. Trainings take place in accordance with the current schedule for 2022 / 2023

  • Mondays, 8:15 p.m. – 9:45 p.m., ul. Lubomirskiego 19 – beginner group
  • Tuesdays, 20:15 – 21:45, ul. Akacjowa 5 – intermediate and advanced groups
  • Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ul. Akacjowa 5 – beginner group
  • Thursdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ul. Smolensk 7 – beginner group

Enough is enough register and come. Take sports clothes with you, and if you don't have your own bokken - Please let us knowso that we can take a spare one to a specific training session.

For people training:

–  Katori Shinto Ryu seminar in Stara Wieś – December 9-11, 2022

National Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū Winter Camp. It's just around the corner. Since there will be an exam session, here is some useful information
Prices for certificates confirming the degree obtained
5 – 1 kyu: 25

1 Dan – €50
2nd Dan – €75
3rd Dan – €100
The fee for the certificate must be paid before the exam begins. If the attempt fails, the fee will be refunded :)
Examination requirements for individual degrees can be found on our website under this link. Before taking the exam, Sensei's consent is required :)

Remember that preparation and planning are the basis of success, as in the Japanese saying: 🙂
いちねんのけいはがんたんにあり (ichinen no kei wa gantan ni ari) – The sum of the year is on New Year's day.

On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas, we wish you a merry and peaceful Christmas, fantastic gifts under the tree (we especially keep our fingers crossed for all kinds of katanas, bo, naginatas, bokkens and brand new training gi 😀 ) and a delicious Christmas Eve dinner (so that there will be something to burn later during training :D)
