For those starting their adventure with Katori:

August, the beginning of the school year is slowly approaching. Prepare well for the next edition of the fight for grades by training in Japanese fencing at the TAKE school :) Registration for the beginner group lasts until August 15. Trainings take place in a special summer schedule:

  • Tuesdays, 20:15 - 21:45, ul. Acacia 5
  • Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ul. Akacjowa 5

Enough is enough register and come. Take sports clothes with you, and if you don't have your own bokken - Please let us knowso that we can take a spare one to a specific training session.

– Katori Shinto Ryu demonstration at the Japanese picnic: August 6

On August 6, at the Main Library at 2 Powroźnicza Street, there will be a show and Katori Shinto Ryu workshops performed by our yudansha. A great opportunity to see more advanced Katori techniques and show how cool it is to your undecided friends :) The Japanese Picnic will start at 11:00, while the TAKE show is scheduled for 12:00. We cordially invite you :)

Katori Shinto Ryu International Seminar in Leer – August 9-14

At the beginning of August we are going to a seminar with sensei Sugino in Leer, Germany. We will probably come back with a huge dose of new knowledge and skills, which we will be happy to pass on during our training :) More information at event website.

On 18-21 there will be a seminar with Sensei Sugino in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Details on the event plan, registration and organization can be found at event website.
