For beginners with Katori

The chill of December wraps the streets, and the first snowflakes gently cover the frozen ground. At this time, Katori Shinto Ryu training becomes a focus of spiritual strength and perseverance. The short days, illuminated by candlelight and Christmas lights, add a magical glow to the evenings, and the Dojo is transformed into a place where one can explore the peace of mind and determination that are key elements of this samurai art. This year we are continuing the introductory workshop for beginners. If you would like to join us, please leave your email and we will send you information about the next introductory workshop. We are accepting people 15 years and older. Below is the new schedule for the 2023/2024 school year:

  • Mondays, 8:15 - 9:45 p.m., 19 Lubomirskiego St. - Beginner group training
  • Tuesdays, 20:15 – 21:45, ul. Akacjowa 5 – Beginner group training
  • Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m., ul. Akacjowa 5 – Training of the intermediate-advanced group
  • Wednesdays, 9:15 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., ul. Akacjowa 5 – Advanced group training
  • Thursdays, 18:30 – 20:00, ul. Smolensk 7 – Beginner group training

Introductory workshop - 13.01.2024

The next introductory workshop will tentatively take place on January 13. More information coming soon on the TAKE website

For people who train

 

Christmas training schedule:

 
Due to the upcoming holidays and other occasions, the following training sessions in December will not take place:
 
  • 14.12.2023 - Thursday - Training will not take place
  • 25 - 26.12.2023 - Monday, Tuesday - Training will not take place
  • 01.01.2024 - Monday - Training will not take place

Katori Shinto Ryu winter camp at Dojo Stara Wieś 08 – 10/12/2023

 
The Katori shinto ryu winter camp in the Old Village will be held this weekend. This is the last and most anticipated event of the calendar year 2023 🙂
