For those starting their adventure with Katori:

The April flowers of the Japanese sakura have already bloomed, but we at Katori Shinto Ryu bloom all year round! Constantly developing your skills in Japanese Katori Shinto Ryu fencing :) Discover your inner strength and learn techniques that have survived centuries and will make you feel like a real samurai. 🙂 You can come to the first training until the 10th day of the month. We accept people from the age of 15. Trainings take place in accordance with the current schedule for 2022 / 2023:

• Mondays, 8:15 p.m. – 9:45 p.m., ul. Lubomirskiego 19 – beginner/intermediate group
• Tuesdays, 20:15 – 21:45, ul. Akacjowa 5 – intermediate and advanced groups
• Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ul. Akacjowa 5 – beginner/intermediate group
• Thursdays, 8:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., ul. Smolensk 7 – beginner/intermediate group

Enough is enough register and come. Take sports clothes with you, and if you don't have your own bokken - Please let us knowso that we can take a spare one to a specific training session.

For people training:

– Individual training
It happens that we cannot participate in several training sessions in a given month for various reasons. But don't worry, we have the perfect solution for you! From now on, we are introducing the possibility of individual training with Sensei Mateusz. Regardless of your level of advancement, you now have the opportunity to have training tailored to your needs. Trainings are available for one or two people and last 60 minutes. The price of individual training is PLN 140, and for the version for two participants it is PLN 180. Don't miss the opportunity to improve your skills under the watchful eye of Sensei in a room equipped with mirrors!

–  Katori Shinto Ryu workshops in Białystok – April 22 – 23, 2023

We invite you to attend workshops in Białystok, led by Sensei Jacek Krzeszowiec (4th Dan). The seminar will be an opportunity to improve your skills in a fantastic atmosphere. The cost of participation is only PLN 100, and the workshops will take place at 4 Szkolna Street. For the convenience of participants, it is possible to stay overnight directly in the room! We cordially invite katorians of all levels of advancement, ready for new challenges and developing their skills. Don't miss the opportunity, join us now!

–  Katori Shinto Ryu Seminar in Warsaw – 03 – 04/06/2023

In June, we are pleased to invite you to the international Katori Shinto Ryu seminar in Warsaw, led by Sensei LORIS PETRIS 6'Dan Katori Shinto Ryu. The required condition for participation is prior registration under this link. The number of participants is limited. The deadline for submitting the application will be taken into account. To participate in advanced training, it is necessary to know at least 6 Bo kata and 3 Naginata kata. The seminar will take place at primary school no. 94. And Marshal of Poland Józef Piłsudski at ul Cietrzewia 22a in Warsaw

• €60 (PLN 285) Early Birds
  payment by April 5, 2023 to the account or in cash.
•  €65 (PLN 315) cash payment
  on site on the day of the event.

• 9.30 registration for the seminar
• 10.00-12.30 Katori training for everyone
• 12.45-14.15 lunch break
• 14.30-15.30 Katori training for advanced users
• 15.45-17.45 training for everyone,
• In the evening, a walk, dinner and conversations.

• 9.15-12.00 Katori for everyone (last hour 11.00-12.00 divided into groups of advanced beginners)

–  TAKE 5-4′ kyu spring examination session – March 21, 2023

The spring examination session for grades 5′ and 4′ kyu has already ended, and now we would like to congratulate those who successfully passed the exams!! Your hard work and dedication are bringing great results. Congratulations again and we wish you continued success on your path of the sword!

–  Katori Shinto Ryu Seminar in the Czech Republic – June 2023
An international Katori Shinto Ryu seminar led by sensei Ulf Rott will most likely take place in June. 5'Dan Katori Shinto Ryu. We will have more details soon, so stay tuned for more information!

– Katori Shinto Ryu winter camp in Stara Wieś – December 8-10, 2023
We are very happy to announce that despite many unfavorable circumstances, the Katori winter camp will be held again this year in the picturesque Stara Wieś. On December 8-10, 2023, you will have the opportunity to improve your fencing skills away from the typical urban bustle, relaxing in the evening by the fireplace :) We will provide more details soon.
